M.M. & I Management Announces Exclusive Management of Pianist Mirian Conti for
North America, South America and Europe –
The Argentine-American Ms. Conti, a Yamaha Artist and a prolific recording artist, has garnered rave reviews . Her 21 recordings cover an array of styles, composers and labels. In addition to standard classical works, her repertoire is impressively wide and varied including music from Spain, Latin America and North America. Many 20th and 21st century composers have written works for her, including Samuel Zyman, David Diamond, James Cohn, Katherine Hoover, Michael White, Phillip Ramey, Benjamin Lees, Lalo Schifrin, and she has premiered works of Vincent Persichetti, Morton Gould and Paul Bowles.
Actively involved in the music education of young pianists, she has for many years been creating and directing competition, festivals and marathons in the U.S. and South America, and has awarded scholarships and prizes to further the musical education of these young musicians. She also participates as adjudicator of major international competitions and is currently on the faculty of the Evening Division at The Juilliard School where she graduated with a BM and MM and was recognized in 2005 as one their "100 Outstanding Alumni". Ms Conti is the Director of PianoSolo-Internacional (formerly Teachers del Norte Pianists del Sur), a program exclusively to promote young pianists from Latin America and all over the world, connecting them through the new technology of the Yamaha Disklavier which started in 2017.
